Versalift UK Invests in Service Excellence

Versalift UK Strengthens Service Capabilities Through Major Workshop and Fleet Investment

At Versalift, delivering exceptional support throughout the lifecycle of our customers’ equipment has always been a priority. As demand for reliable servicing, refurbishment, inspections, and maintenance continues to grow, we are proud to announce a significant investment in our service operations that will enhance our capabilities and help us better support customers across the UK.

Expanding Our Workshop to Support More Customers

As part of our ongoing commitment to service excellence, we have expanded our workshop facilities at our Burton Latimer headquarters, significantly increasing our operational capacity.

The expansion has enabled us to increase our refurbishment capability from two dedicated refurbishment bays to three, allowing us to complete more refurbishment projects simultaneously and reduce turnaround times for customers.

In addition, our general service workshop has doubled in capacity, increasing from four service bays to eight. This expansion allows our service team to carry out more inspections, repairs, maintenance programmes, LOLER examinations, and servicing work across a wider range of access platforms.

New 10-Tonne Cranes Enhance Service and Repair Capability

To further strengthen our service offering, we have invested in two new 10-tonne overhead cranes within the workshop.

This investment significantly enhances our ability to safely and efficiently service larger and more complex equipment across the wider Time Manufacturing portfolio, including Ruthmann and Aspen Aerials products.

The cranes provide greater lifting capacity, improve workshop efficiency, and allow our technicians to undertake more extensive repairs and refurbishments while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Supporting the Entire Time Manufacturing Portfolio

As part of the global Time Manufacturing Group, Versalift UK is uniquely positioned to support a broad range of access platform products throughout their operational life.

Our latest workshop investment ensures we are even better equipped to provide:

  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Emergency repairs
  • LOLER inspections
  • Refurbishment programmes
  • Vehicle and platform servicing
  • Technical support and diagnostics
  • Parts supply and installation

By expanding our facilities and investing in specialist equipment, we can continue to deliver the high-quality service our customers expect while supporting an increasingly diverse fleet of access platforms.

Investing in Our Field Service Fleet

Versalift UK Invests in Service Excellence

Customer support doesn’t stop at our workshop doors.

We have also invested in new field service vans to strengthen our nationwide service coverage and ensure our engineers can continue delivering responsive, high-quality support wherever our customers operate.

Our field service engineers play a critical role in keeping customers’ equipment operational, providing on-site servicing, repairs, diagnostics, inspections, and technical support across the UK.

These new vehicles will help improve efficiency, increase responsiveness, and ensure our team has the tools they need to deliver the professional service our customers rely on.

Investing in People and Growing Our Team

Alongside investments in facilities, equipment, and service infrastructure, we continue to invest in our most valuable asset – our people.

As our service operations expand, we are actively recruiting skilled professionals to support our growing customer base and enhanced workshop capabilities. This includes opportunities for both field-based service engineers and workshop-based roles at our Burton Latimer headquarters, helping us deliver the high standards of service and support our customers expect.

In addition, we are looking to strengthen our presence in Scotland and are keen to hear from experienced service engineers who are passionate about supporting customers across the access industry.

These recruitment efforts reflect our continued growth and long-term commitment to building a highly skilled aftersales team capable of supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of their equipment. Whether in the workshop or out in the field, every new team member plays an important role in helping us deliver industry-leading service across the UK.

A Commitment to Customer Support

These investments represent more than just expanded facilities and new equipment—they demonstrate our commitment to helping customers maximise uptime, improve operational efficiency, and protect the long-term value of their investment.

Whether supporting a single vehicle or an entire fleet, Versalift UK remains focused on delivering dependable service, expert engineering support, and industry-leading aftersales care.

As we continue to grow, we look forward to supporting even more customers across the UK with enhanced workshop capabilities, expanded field service coverage, and a team dedicated to keeping your equipment working safely and efficiently.
